we have started small.
Our overall goal is to keep the detail reasonable and to answer only
the additional questions that can not be avoided or are not answered better
elsewhere (or are answered well but
unknown to us).
In this respect, we are experimenting with information display models
with lend themselves to "outsourcing" the details. |

Over time we hope to enlist the assistance of
real experts to take ownership of the components of systems engineering
and the project management practice areas we feel are important.
Our model is partly based on "the Cathedral and the Bazaar"
concepts used to explain the successful development of LINUX. We have a leaning towards a
Bazaar with selected, known, established "vendors." |
